Why use ZentaPDF Add Page Numbers?
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. ZentaPDF processes your files inside your own browser using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, so nobody else can see your documents — not even us.
Can I start numbering from a number other than 1?
Yes. Type any number in "Start at" — useful when your PDF is part of a larger document.
Can I leave the cover page without a number?
Yes. Tick "Skip first page"; numbering then starts on page 2 with your start number.
Will the numbers cover my text?
Numbers are placed about 1 cm from the page edge. If your page has content there, choose a different position or a smaller size.
Is it really free? Do you add a watermark?
Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limits. The site is supported by a few non-intrusive ads.
